Blood Donation Drive
今天被酸到不可以再酸。。。Pple keep reminding me of the fact that i cant donate blood cuz i too light. And Marcus 以为自己很cute 这样，He blew at me, and thought i would fly away. well, MARCUS, its NOT funny.
Then just now was looking at the poor Tuan. He wanted to donate blood, but wuz so scared. But he registered and went for it. He deserves a cheer for being so brave. (he is brave because he went ahead to overcome something he is so afraid of.) Then the worst thing was, somehow, his vein got ruptured... and the blood cannot be collected. He is like the only one this happened to, poor guy. Such a nice guy he is. But have to go thru all that unecessary pain. Oops, i wonder if i've made anyone who had wanted to donate blood tomorrow have 2nd thoughts. Andy told me he will go donate tomorrow... so u muz k, Andy? *grinz* Most interesting donor - The Speed Donor: Andrew came in near 3pm, den he told me he was in a rush and wanted to donate quickly and asked if it was possible he went first. Not really a big prob dere, since pple were more than willing to drag time. haha... so Andrew got to filling in his form, and he kept asking me things like... "What is my name?", "Race... wad race?" And the dumbest thing was i answered his stupid qns. Rushing from counter to counter was a bit siaoz, and he din even fill in the form completely, until i pointed it out to him. So he and i sat down in a corner and he tried to fill in the form. Den got this girl was standing up to go to the doctor's counter when me and Andrew flew to the seat beside the doctor and i kept apologizing to the girl. haha... Finally got to the actual donating. And that Andrew ar, he was completely unflinching, when the needle pricked him, when that super thick needle was poke into his arm. argh. I was like hiding behind Esther when i saw the nurse fiddling with that thick needle. But i did see a bit of the needle peircing in. And i saw Andrew watching the needle go in, with an amused expression. Can u believe it, amused? After that he kept asking me to stay and talk to him... so i stood beside him and talked to him. When i asked him whether it was painful, he said he never had much prob with needles. He just commented that the needle quite thick. Gah. Its like a 0.7 pen point lor... He told me when he was a kid, and he had an injection, the doctor was quite suprised, him being one of the kids who din flinch, din cry, din even respond much. haha. But it was nice talking to him again, quite long never talk to him nor joked around etc like during 《绿园》. The nurse was saying how well he was doing, everything going so super smoothly. And his blood collects faster than other pple too, somehow. Very fast fill up the pack le. He everything also super express and speedy, like from start to end less than 15min. When he first sat down, instead of asking the nurse "will it be painful?" like pple usually ask, he asked, "How long will the whole thing take? Can do quickly?". His fren came over and we started talking, while Andrew started chatting happily to the nurse, about how long she's been doing this, is her job fun etc. Haha... and his fren whispered in my ear "他在跟 auntie nurse 搭讪." And we both laughed. Later on after the nurse removed the needle, he immediately asked if he can leave, but the nurse made him rest for a while. And he again asked me to talk to him, so we started examining this pack of iron tablets the nurse gives everyone. After that he said he wanted the blood donor sticker, so i went to find for him. And we both had a good laugh when he stuck it on himself and started reading the words: Be nice to me. haha. Then i stuck a green sticker on the chart under 28/03.. he is the first and he said the only one donating. oh my... how can lidat?? Andy and Arthur were also there, and somehow i get the feeling that Andy is freaked out by the half of the process he saw. haha... No, Andy, u muz keep to your promise kae. Muz donate tomorrow. Oh, and something not so funny happened. Me, Cai Lin and Yen Mei were eating our lunch in the hall(subway) when the principal suddenly came in. We all almost choked and quickly packed up our food and act like it was untouched. Mrs Lim started surveying the list with the stickers (Pink for each girl, Green for guys.) The pink stickers were far far far more than the green ones... which she shook her head and asked "What happened to all my guys?" And Tuan happened to be squirming on his bench at that very moment. Then Mrs Lim wanted to donate blood, which is an OH NO for us, cuz i din bring camera. I was planning to bring tomorrow... why muz she donate today??? And the principal donating MUZ have photo one... so i asked around and finally Arthur lent me his, with only ONE photo space left. We later found out the memory was mostly taken up by photos of JUN MING. Becos of JUN MING, we couldn get more than 1 photo of our principal. U can imagine how Eunice and everyone else started suan-ing Arthur after Eunice found out. "So. Jun Ming is more impt than MRS LIM huh?" Geez. Tomorrow MUZ bring camera. MUZ. Joyce at 9:26 PM
